In order to receive your own personal experience you must first establish a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. You will enjoy the refreshment of a new life full of trust and believe in Him.

First you must believe that He is and that He came to restore man to His Father God. You must believe in your heart and confess with your mouth. Then can you be saved from eternal destruction.

He that believes in me shall never die.

In order to receive the Lord Jesus Christ into your life simply repeat the following:

"Dear Lord Jesus. I am a sinner. I ask that you forgive me for my sins. I believe that you are the Son of God. I believe that you died on the cross for me and rose again. I also believe that you took on my sins when you died, therefore I am now saved from my sins. You said to ask and I shall receive, seek and I shall find. You also said that you will give to everyone who asks. I believe that I am cleansed from my sins and have received salvation. I thank you for saving me."

The story of the prodigal son is a prime example of how our Father God feels about us. When we deter from the life we know, our Father is always there to welcome us with His forgiving arms and loving kiss. If you have been that prodigal son (or daughter), God is there, Jesus is there to forgive you and restore you.

Repeat the following: "Dear Lord Jesus. I am a believer who wants to be restored to your kingdom. I have not been living the life I should. I have not been walking in the fullness of your blessings. I ask that you forgive me and cleanse me. Restore me back to you. The bible says if I return unto you, you will return unto me. I believe that I am now restored. Thank you for your forgiving grace."

Congratulations! Welcome back home!

The next step is to find a bible teaching church so you can learn more about this new wonderful life. Be baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. There are many churches in your area where they believe what you have confessed above. If you are renewing your experience, you also need a bible teaching church (if you don't have one already).

If you are unsure about which faith, check your local phone book for a non-denominational or inter-denominational church. Many of these churches are bible teaching churches that are not under a specific denomination.

Also, check the television for bible teaching ministries. TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network), The Word Network and early am on BET (Black Entertainment TV) have lots to choose from.

My personal favorites are the ministries of: Mike and DeeDee Freeman, I.V. and Bridgit Hilliard, John Cherry, T.D. Jakes, Paula White, Juanita Bynum, Bill Winston, Courtney McBath, Joyce Myer, Fredrick KC. Price, Kenneth Hagin, Sr. and Jr., Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis, Zachery Tims and Randy Morrison. Just to name a few.

Any of these ministries will give you a great background until you find your own church. I pretty much most of the ministries on TBN, but not necessarily on the other Networks. If I haven't mentioned it above, I may not endorse it. You will find what you need, as the choice is yours. And, what a wonderful choice.
