Hi, I'm Doctor Korde Springfield. My friends tell
me I need to get with the program. They say I can't ride around with
them on their Harleys and I on my roadster. I don't see anything
wrong with my bike, but that's what they say. "You need to grow up man",
they say.
My bike has taken me through a lot. A bike, especially
a red one, get's you "IN" with the Honeys. Not to mention being a Doctor
with a bike. Not now, I mean. That's before I hooked up with
Ms. Charli David, of course. Sorry Hon. |
Hey, my bike and I have gone through a lot.
Let's see, riding with the honeys. My best friend and colleague,
Damon Divane and I have seen some pretty great days on our bikes. I recall
the day we spotted some Honeys across the way. Like I said, that
was before I hooked up with Charli, of course.
|
Yeap, that was a fun day. My buddy has since gotten
married and moved to Kansas. |
Speaking of .... That was around the time I was
kidnapped. That's how I met Charli. Long story. You have
time, don't you? As I said, that's how I met Charli. Sweet
Charli, I can see her now. Be still my heart (click
here). Snap out of it man. You've got a story to tell.
|
Okay, the gist of it is a patient of Damon's, Babette,
thought I was he. She snapped after she found out he was marrying
the winner of a "Who Wants to Marry a Doctor" contest. Man was I
afraid.
|
Not really for myself. I didn't think I was in
any real danger. After all in Babette's eyes all she saw was Dr.
Damon Divane. The apple of her eye.
|
I was afraid for Charli though. The poor girl was a disaster
when Babette brought her in. She tricked her. You see, Charli was
in the contest too. Babette was jealous of anyone who got close to
the doctor.
|
Babette was hiding out at Harley's cabin and innocent
Charli was visiting and was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
When Babette brought her in, her hair was all disarrayed, tears in her
eyes. She was frazzled. But still very, very pretty.
|
I was sort of relieved when she got there. I now
had somebody to talk to. That was unless Babette was in the room
with us. She wouldn't have Charli talking with her Doctor.
|
Yeap, Babette held us captive for days. Moved us
from room to room so as not to be caught. I can still smell the sweet
perfume Charli wore that day. Okay, this is supposed to be a disaster,
I know.
|
What does this have to do with my bike? It was
alone for days without me. I worried about it sitting alone all by
itself.
|
Ha! Yeah right. Who am I kidding?
I didn't even think about that bike after I saw Charli. I just hoped
we got out alright so I could see her again.
I could see she and I together. She, I and my bike.
Hey, I gotta get my bike in this story too. After all this is all
about the bike, isn't it? (sighs) We are inseparable. That's
why it is so hard to sell it. See the heart I had tatooed on it?
It was my true love. That is until I met Charli.
|
Okay, I've gone on and on and you're really only interested
in the bike. Let me wrap up this story. After a few leads,
the cops found us and rescued us and Babette was arrested.
|
I got the hook-up with Charli after professing my new
found love for her.
|
Oh, I left out something. Charli and Babette became good friends.
They even went to Kansas to attend Damon's wedding together. After
all, they're gonna be sisters-in-law some day. I guess you wonder
how Babette go out of jail. Nope, it wasn't an insanity plea.
Its because Babette is my sister and we didn't press charges. Yeah,
I know. Kidnapping is a federal offense. But, I'm a doctor.
That says something in a small town in Georgia like DaeLite City.
Babette now has another doctor, lots of friends.....
|
|
...and a new boyfriend.
|
And Charli and I are happy. Charli, me and my bike.
Well, at least when she comes to DaeLite City to visit. I can't get
that girl to move here to save my life.
She says..."I will after I have two rings on my
finger. That's left hand, ring finger."
|
I bet you didn't think I could get that story
back to being about the bike, did you?
I wonder if after I sell it, I could have visitation
rights?
I could tell them, "You see, I get lonely and we've
been through a lot together".
